Ir. Brian C. W. Lai

Brian is the founder and Managing Director of AeroSwift Asia Consulting Co. Ltd. (ASA). 

As a licensed mechanic and a private pilot, in the past 30 years, Brian has been engaged in various sectors of the aviation industry including the regulator, Part 145 and AOC Holders, with positions ranging from Airworthiness Inspector, Head of Airworthiness Department, to Quality Manager, and Safety/Security Manager. 

He is also a IBAC accredited IS-BAO auditor authorized to conduct audits to all technical aspects (OP/FW/RW/MX/SRQ) of business aviation operations. 

Since 2022, Brian has become a FAA Designated Airworthiness Representative - Maintenance (DAR-T) authorized to perform certification activities on behalf of the agency. 

He is a Fellow Member of Hong Kong Institution of Engineers (HKIE) Aviation Discipline and is an instructor for QMS, SMS and Airworthiness Course.
